This is what I like about LV you have choices to fit your needs. So I agree you can get some good deals on the strip or Fremont ST. A GPS is a must doing this and it gave me a choice of what I wanted to see and do. I enjoy staying either place on or off the strip but my last two trips involved house buying so it was much closer to stay at a Station Casino and then I could go in to where ever I wanted to go on the strip. I gave up explaining because some folks want to argue about it and they have never been there. Believe me I am moving there soon and you would not believe the reactions and comments I received so far. They believe you just walk into a casino and get a job and it is always hot in LV. Most of them believe prostitution is legal and it cost next to nothing. They think you just party and gamble and eat 24 seven. You would not believe how many people not from LV believe everyone lives there and goes there all of the time. The reason some folks may want to stay off the strip is to see other attractions outside of the strip plus get a feel of what normal life is living in LV.
